Bilbao Fine Arts Museum

The Bilbao Fine Arts Museum has been open for more than a century, during which time it has expanded its collection of artwork by the acquisition of works and the generous donation of significant pieces. The permanent collection consists of over 10,000 pieces, some of which are paintings, sculptures, works on paper, and applied arts. Among these categories of artworks are also works of applied arts. This enormous collection of patrimonial artefacts covers a time period beginning in the thirteenth century and continuing all the way up to the present day.
