Doha Golf Club

Doha Golf Club, established in 1998, is one of the most prestigious golf courses in the region. Designed by world-famous designer Peter Harradine, it features an 18-hole championship course that is challenging and a 9-hole floodlit academy course for golfers of all levels. It was a turning point in Qatar's sporting history, giving the country its first grass golf course and ever since becoming the hub of golfing activity in the region. Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, a flagship event in the Middle East for golfers is held here. The club greets members and visitors alike with facilities of the highest class. The first tournament was won by Scottish professional golfer Andrew Coltart, setting the stage for the tradition of inviting the world's best golfers to play in the region.

The course is bordered by eight well-placed lakes, more than 10,000 green bushes and trees, and 65 giant Arizona cacti, making it a green oasis in the desert. The clubhouse has been constructed in traditional Arabic architecture and is located on one of the highest points of the course, offering stunning views and a special cultural atmosphere.
