Heenat Salma Farm is a pioneering 50-hectare organic farm in the Al Shahaniya municipality, only a 30-minute drive from West Bay in Doha. Started in 2018 by the Caravane Earth Foundation, the farm transformed a common farming field into a permaculture center of excellence for sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Taking advantage of the 2,240 square meters area, the farm cultivates a vast variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs in harmony with the dry climate of Qatar. Apart from agriculture, Heenat Salma also offers eco-hospitality, well-being activities, vocational education, and learning workshops. This provides immersive educational experiences in astronomy and earth sciences with the combination of education and entertainment.
