One of the best natural parks in Taif, Saudi Arabia, is Al Faisaliah Garden, known for its serene atmosphere.
Not just the final destination but the journey there is equally as fascinating.
The park can be reached from the interior of Makkah by a stunning meandering road that passes past mountains, fruit markets, rose farms, and deep valleys. It is close to the Shafa Mountains, where baboons are free to roam, and the light shines beautifully between majestic peaks.
This is a great spot to escape the hectic pace of the city because it provides shade, possibilities for recreation, and a change of view from the normally sandy environment of the city and the countryside.
Despite being primarily human-made, it welcomes nature into our lives and emotions.
Highlights:
- The Al Faisaliah Garden is full of seats and areas for picnics, hiking and walking paths, different treks, and lanes for jogging and racing. Thus, it provides venues for people of all ages, including a separate space for children's activities, a sports center, a small café, and covered sections where big groups can congregate.
- The approximately 78 000 square meter garden area was constructed to give city dwellers a place to unwind where all amenities are available, surrounded by several lush and tiled areas.
- You can relax in one of the sporadic covered spots while taking a stroll with your family along the green lawn sections.
- The garden was designed in several locations, including boards with stone BBQ grills on charcoal, so you could also bring a picnic and have a family barbecue.
- The playground equipment, which is dispersed across the area and includes a variety of swings, is available for use by children.
- The sports center, Arab tent, and various other facilities, including pedestrian walkways bordered with lush foliage, are additional areas where you can spend time.
- The dancing fountain, surrounded by lovely foliage, adds to the park's appeal.
