The majestic Pakistan Monument represents Pakistan's cultural richness and history, and it represents all five of Pakistan's provinces and its three territories. It is situated in Islamabad at the western view of the gorgeous Shakarparian Hills.

At one end, a monumental memorial takes the form of flower petals and is relatively large, and it illustrates the historical occurrences that resulted in our country's founding. On the other end, you'll find the Pakistan Monument Museum, Islamabad's only wax museum.

It's a great venue to learn about the city's history. Its one-of-a-kind architectural style, as well as its picturesque position, have contributed to its status.

Things to do at Pakistan Monument Museum:

  • Embrace the symbolism of the past and future of Pakistan:

The ever-expanding form of the monument is meant to symbolize Pakistan's development as an ever-changing motherland. The three smaller petals of the monument represent the three territories, while the four larger petals represent the four provinces (Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh). Granite flower petals in the shape of a blossoming bloom form the tower, which symbolizes the togetherness of Pakistani people. Murals adorn the surfaces of the interior partitions of the flower's petals.

  • Explore the artifacts in the museum:

A museum can be found in the surrounding area, and it tells the story of the origins and development of Pakistan throughout the many periods of the Pakistan movement. Through the vibrant mannequins on show, visitors can have a deeper understanding of the varied histories and the difficulties and achievements that have occurred over time.

  • Deep dive into literary treasures here:

Visit the library to view unique volumes, manuscripts, and relics belonging to Iqbal and Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the men responsible for founding the nation.

  • Soak in beautiful vistas and consider a day out here:

Do not pass up the opportunity to see the breathtaking panorama encompassing the Shakarparian hills. Because this region's 2.8 hectares contain the best vantage points from which to appreciate a birds-eye perspective of the entire city, it is a top-rated site for picnics.

  • It is an icon of national pride and honor for veterans:

The platform in the center is designed as a five-pointed star, and a body of water surrounds it. The crescent, made of metal and surrounds the star, is adorned with quotations from Muhammad Ali Jinnah and poetry written by Allama Iqbal. This architectural marvel serves as a memorial to the Pakistani citizens who gave their lives for their nation and represents patriotism among the Pakistani people.

  • Understand the value of art in Islamic culture by way of gestures:

In addition, construction workers were honored by having their handprints placed along the long walls that flank this Freedom Plaza on all sides.
