Parc National des Calanques

Stunning natural scenery, a variety of landscapes, and a distinctive cultural heritage can all be found in the Parc National des Calanques. It is the only national park in Europe to include both land and water, and it is situated in the South of France along a 20-kilometer stretch of coastline between Marseille and Cassis.

  • Appreciate the natural wonders that exist here:

You will have the opportunity to see more than one hundred 'ibons,' blue water mountain lakes, and several impressive waterfalls and permanent ice caps in this park.

The remaining glacier ice caps in the Pyrenees are now protected as Natural Monuments because they are the most southern permanent glaciers in Europe.

  • Awaken the enthusiast within you and get ready for an exciting new experience:

The Park, which encompasses the cities of Gistan, San Juan de Plan, Sahn, and Montanuy, provides countless opportunities for hiking, mountaineering, skiing, and other activities. As a result, there is a robust lodging market, several high-mountain shelters, and a vast network of marked trails in and around the Park.

The GR-11 long-run path is followed by several hiking trails located within the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park.

You can see this mountain's slopes if you take the route that circles Posets and passes by three different shelters (Estós, Viadós, and Ors).

We cannot stress enough how important it is for you to go to the Forau d'Aigüalluts waterfall using the family-friendly path that leads there.
