The Quaid-i-Azam Institution Islamabad (Urdu: ; more usually abbreviated as QAU), formerly known as the University of Islamabad, is a public research university in Islamabad, Pakistan, that is now ranked number one.

It is one of the most picturesque universities in the area and can be found just a few kilometers away from the diplomatic enclave in the city.
