Mesaieed Golf Club

Mesaieed Golf Club is an actual desert course constructed by oil workers many years ago. To offer an alternative to the green course known as 'desert golf,' this club was founded in 1951 as a 9-hole brown course made of a sand and oil mixture. 

In order to host the Middle East Oil Industry Golf Association (MEOIGA) Trophy Championships, the golf course was extended in 1959 into an 18-hole brown golf course. An 18-hole championship course, practice facilities, chipping and putting greens, and a golf academy are all included in the new golf course. The QP Challenge Trophy is one of the events and championships that the golf club now hosts. 

For the use of QP employees and guests, this golf course offers amenities such as a café, swimming pool, banquet hall, and tennis court. Other facilities include riding in golf carts, availability of pull carts, golf equipment rentals, hiring a caddie for carrying the equipment, and a dressing room. In the middle of a desert, it offers you a wonderful golfing experience! 

How to explore Mesaieed Golf Club? 

• If your ball falls on the fairway, you pick it up and hit it off the small artificial turf mat given to you before beginning your game. You take a chance off the desert sand if you're not on the fairway. 
• You get a chance to play the long-range bunker shots all day on this brown golf course. 
• The color green is essentially a flattened form of black in this golf course. All of that may seem strange, but if you get used to it, it functions rather nicely to play golf. 
• There's a nice pool as part of the clubhouse area at the end if you bring your trunks for a fancy dip in the pool.
• A few events or exhibitions are conducted in the banquet hall for the members. Be a part of these events!
